Ambra, a little known Nymph with mighty power, a Queen of the golden amber, the saps that flow through the trees, and the Nymph whose whispered sweet Amber accords into the ears of perfumers for ages. She marched around the world, claiming stake on any scent that fit the amber mould. She makes her home where the horizon meets the night, and the sisters of the golden hour draw their gilded curtains closed. Where rivers of resins flow into golden sunsets, and lightening beckons the fire to burn the incense ambrosia of the goddess.
 
Nuggets of fossilized amber crown her head and neck, as she feasts upon warm amber liquids with her nose, and douses herself in the nectar of the gods. She draws her magic from the lake of amber reflection, and her heart of molten amber, which pumps warm amber liquid through her veins. She makes her own light, she pours light, she is the light. But she is also present in the dark, and she reminds the other Nymphs often; without the darkness, there is no light.
 
Ambra was created from the Earth, one of the first beings of light and dark to merge upon her crust, the only thing before her were the trees, and after living millions of years alone, Earth decided it was time to create them company. The Earth drove molten amber, which flowed from the middle of the trees, into the Earth, alongside the red, hot lava. The Earth then spewed it back to the surface, where it hardened, preserving all the minerals within it's path inside it's golden chambers. For millions of years, which for the earth is just a fraction of time, the hardened amber absorbed the sun's rays, comets and asteroids laid stardust upon it's surface, and the trees looked down at it's jewel-like appearance, the light cascading off of it, onto their lonely trunks. The dark night soared above it, and the ebb and flow of the tides imparted it's force within it's memories. And it was then the Earth heated the amber, split open the fabric of time and space, and from it she pulled particles of light and dark. The three parts joined together, Amber, Light and Dark as one, and the Earth moulded Ambra.
 
In return for her creation, Ambra set out to honor the Earth by creating the perfect amber perfume. As the Earth created more and more beings, plants, creatures, trees, and life, Ambra discovered more and more shades of Amber, but rather colors, fragrances. Each precious material brought Ambra closer to creating the perfect amber, until finally, all parts joined, the perfect amber perfume emerged, a decadent, sweet, ethereal creation.
 
Ribbons of shiny, sappy resinoids emulsified into an anhydrous buttery balm of butters and oils. Smooth Shea Nilotica Butter, silky Kukui Candlenut Oil, golden Jojoba, and fragrant organic, raw Beeswax from our beehives are joined together with natural olive derived emulsifier, which creates a slippy, warming, non-greasy body balm, and helps the rich resins and amber extracts intertwine with the buttery base. The scent is the most precious amber; sweet, resinous, complex, spicy, and completely addicting.
 
This balm is potent and divine. Ancient resins and very precious, valuable ingredients used since the dawn of humanity to scent skin, form a fragrance that feels like it's about to whisper it's secrets to me. I keep Ambra's potion on my bedside table, and love to apply this balm before bedtime or meditation, it's incredibly calming and relaxing. The scent has an ancient nostalgia, a scent eternally loved by the spirit, for it knows it. The perfect amber.
